I made a Smilebox for Simon's friends, to thank them for coming to his birthday party yesterday... I figured I would try to post it here so you can see it too!
LOVE the smile box, was it easy to do? it kinda looked like a lot of work. i liked how you used the colouring in squeeze bottles instead of pails, cuts down on the mess.
The Smilebox takes a bit of time, only because I can't figure out how to find my photos, so I end up saving them to a place where I can find them! But other than that, it's super easy and fun! Quicker than a scrapbook page....
I just bought a tie dye kit at Michaels, which has elastics, gloves (not enough though), instructions, squeeze bottles and the colours in a powder - just add water. Easy. Super fun!!
The tie dying looks like a lot of fun. Maybe that's a good summer-day activity for the girls one day. I should pick up one of those kits and some shirts and be prepare for the day when they whine "I'm bored".
The Smile Box looks good too. I'm always so relieved when parties are done that I do nothing with the pictures afterwards. I just want to put it all behind me. :-)
Well, I've been told I need to have a blog... so here it is! I'm not sure what I'm going to put on here, but as I think of things to write about, it'll become clearer. Or not!
I am a: wife, stay-at-home mom of 3 fantastic kids, a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Epicure Consultant, coffee drinker, scrapbooker, Quilter... and whatever else I can do to occupy my time. I have no reason to be bored, but I am frequently unmotivated! That's a nice way of saying "lazy" I guess!
